People are always wondering what it is that makes BTS so successful and, honestly, I think their charisma plays a huge part in it. Their talent and performances are incredible, but there’s something about the way they connect with people that makes it so easy to love them.
Their South American tour has been a wonderful example of this. The concerts here were hugely popular and the majority of the feedback was really positive. Many locals were delighted by the performances and by the members themselves. Taehyung, in particular, won over the audience with his enthusiasm for chatting to everyone and learning Spanish phrases and slang from each country. People also admired how much BTS value their fans and how much care they put into every show to connect and engage with them.
I also loved seeing how people described the Tannies as very down-to-earth and said they’re genuinely lovely guys. It’s quite surprising, in the best possible way, how much that side of them came across to everyone and that’s refreshing.
Honestly, to me part of their huge fame is down to the fact that the members are extremely charismatic and they’re all very different, so everyone finds someone who suits their own personality, is not something common or easy to find. For example, ‘The Hot Ones’ is a clear example of this, even there, people were charmed by them, so, alongside their talent and their music, for me that’s a major factor in their success and the reason why they have so many fans around the world.
Even if they were a few incidents they were very much loved in latam and they got so many new fans. It is so interesting to witness it.
