Around a few days ago on October 21 CJ ENM released an article talking about MAMA 2026. They basically talked about things they have planned for the ceremony this year like how the stage will be 360 once again, the artist seating area being lowered to audience eye level to “reduce” the sense of distance between idols and fans(I don’t know how I feel about that), and most notably how this year mama will hold its largest-ever lineup of performing artists in a single host city of the ceremony’s history. Currently there are 26 performing artist in the line up, the second line up was only announced on the 16th and CJ ENM didn’t confirmed it’s the complete final line up more will be added. Now I tried searching what the current record was which I couldn’t really find anything so I decided to just go off with last year’s performing artist number. Mama 2025 had around 28 total performers(not counting artist who performed outside their groups like Yeonjun, Hanbin, and the 3 Babymonster members). Realistically if everything goes well and CJ ENM stay true to their words, around 4-10 more performers will be added.
While I do feel like it will feel a bit overwhelming having so much acts perform both days, I won’t like end say I was left wanting a bit more once the second line up was announced so I am quite thrilled. So, who do you personally think will be added on the line up plus who do you personally want to see perform? Just for reference, this is the current performing line up:
