This hot take is VERY much a disagreement for me, mainly considering their 7 year contract has ended and been extended meaning they had to let go of their lore/concept. thats pretty much IMPOSSIBLE if its a group’s concept for it to continue longer than the initial contract. if they were still in their first contract, MAYBE i would agree in the slightest but i think their concept was much more than just “postponing adulthood.” well, that depends to be honest. in terms of songs i believe so but in terms of album concepts that could have been true. the company(BIGHIT ENT.) did have something for infantilisizing txt… i started noticing it by 2023 in The name chapter: TEMPTATION when the album version i had gotten (im pretty sure it was the nightmare version) had featured a lot of pillows and teddy bears and things of the sort. so that part i could understand, but the songs have much more depth than “postponing adulthood.” songs like
tinnitus (wanna be a rock)
lonely boy (the tattoo on my ring finger)
forty one winks
0X1=LOVESONG (i know i love you)
all have very deep lyrics and meaning.
in short terms,
tinnitus is basically feeling worthless in life to where being a rock seems like a better option.
lonely boy is about obviously being lonely is a sense idk how else to say it
forty one winks is a modern slow love song
0X1, i think the best way i can explain it is the translated lyric “im full of problems, love sick
no way to go
i was fine to die”.
Overall, i believe this opinion is outdated and false considering txt renewed their contract and is doing GREAT
