After looking around for these for a while, I stumbled across them in my local Asian market. As a fan of the movie and of Nongshim’s ramyun in general, I figured I had to try it. As a note, this is the first time I’ve gotten any of their cup noodles as I’ve always gone for their packets instead. The first thing I noticed is that the noodles are thinner than what I was expecting, but they still had a nice mouth feel, a little bit of chew, and a good bounce to them. There were little dehydrated bits of hamburger in it, which while not really adding much were a nice little addition visually. The seasoning packets were one of powdered cheese and the other smelled like a well seasoned hamburger. Maybe a little processed scent but it’s a cup noodle. That’s to be expected. While heating it up, it had a very nostalgic smell for me like Hamburger Helper boxed meal kit. I remember those were one of the first things I learned how to cook as a kid. Then taste wise, it brought back a lot of those same memories. It has the same beefy and cheesy flavors (with the little bit of processed food flavor, again as expected) with the addition of a little bit of spice.
