So DDI RO RI is an interpretation of a classical sample. The industry does use samples, but in case of blacklabel they have done it for I-land 2 Final love song, blackpink’s shutdown, ADP’s look at me and maybe there are more. And this time they went for a more horror vibe for ddi ro ri
So honestly i like DDI RO RI and i do think it’s one of the best releases this year. I really like the transition from the pre-chorus to chorus , it’s like you stop singing and you hear that horror theme music(ddi ro ri) and the bridge took me to heaven. Whoever gave that bridge to narin(100/10). This is the bridge of the year, i feel it’s been a while since i have listened to a bridge so beautiful(hopefully it’s the most replayed part of the m/v).
And the M/V it’s defenitly M/V of the year. The european horror themed setting(which meshes very well with the song), The transistions with the 60fps motion look so smooth(as there are lot of rotation, rolling transations). i know there have been shots of artists inside paintings in M/v’s before , but here i really like those scenes in the 2nd half, especially where anna appears on a scroll and her face glows. And to talk about the shot which cover’s narin’s bridge, i love that whole shot, it’s like the climax of a play, movie and then those red zombies comeout . I feel there is more to the story of the mv, i may be wrong , but the second verse might have potrayed the last supper painting’s scenes, but maybe there are other artworks that were referenced, but i have missed out.
Sometimes the song itself might not make sense and performances,M/V really elivates the song itself. The song itself is really good, but the m/v really takes you another dimension. With techno songs taking over 2026, this song really stands out
