This is mostly just a fun coincidence, and some examples are admittedly a bit of a stretch
I noticed a curious coincidence among some well-known girl groups: a member who later left the group, or became inactive, often appears right at the beginning of their debut song.
LE SSERAFIM – debut song FEARLESS – Garam starts the first verse.
NMIXX – debut song O.O – Jinni starts right from the intro.
izna – debut song IZNA – Jiyoon starts the first verse.
Not a huge number of examples, but this is only looking at well-known groups that have actually lost a member.
The list can be expanded if we include members who have not officially left yet, but something is going on with their presence in the group:
KATSEYE – debut song Debut – Manon starts the intro.
BABYMONSTER – OT6 debut song BATTER UP – Rami starts the first verse.
And one more example that is more of a stretch than the others:
(G)I-DLE – debut song LATATA – the first verse is opened by Soyeon, who is obviously in a very different position when it comes to the possibility of leaving. But right after her in the same first verse comes Soojin.
