is it just me or was kiss of life’s peak too short-lived? for a couple of months, they were really beginning to make noise, and then poof, people stopped paying as much attention to them both domestically and internationally.
the groups has a strong concept that’s unique in today’s kpop. their quality of music hasn’t dropped imo, but they seem to be struggling to return to the peak they reached back in 2024 summer…
im looking at all the metrics and things are not looking good to say the least..
their 1st week album sales have been on a continuous decline since their peak, going from:
Lose Yourself (2024): 91k
224 (2025): 89k
Who Is She (2026): 71k
SWEAT (2026): 56k
It’s been a week since their most recent comeback and the song is currently charting #364 on Melon. Their Spotify numbers have been getting lower and lower every comeback as well. Maybe people are just not vibing with their music anymore or don’t think they’re good, but I still think they’re enjoyable. The energy and the enthusiasm within the fandom is just not as strong as it once was. I don’t think anyone who has been in the fandom for a long time can argue against that.
I think having a strong concept is really important for all groups. their sexy, sensual concept is very underutilized in today’s k-pop. since hardly anyone is doing it nowadays. what more do you think these girls should do to get grab kpop fans’ attention both domestically and internationally?
it’s sad to see them continue to decline… i was just wondering what kind of constructive criticism ppl outside the fandom have, and what they think might be holding the group back from gaining momentum. do you think they’re being too narrow with their sound? should they be more experimental?
