Rating every K-pop performance that I have been to in 2026

I moved to Seoul in February and since then I have been to several different K-pop performances, from encore concerts, to fanmeetings, to prerecording and fansigns. Some of the performances I went to were for my ults while others were for groups/idols that I am a more casual fan of. The ratings below are just my own personal thoughts on the shows that I have been to. The ratings are based not just on the performance but my own personal enjoyment and I am happy to expand on any of them if anyone is interested. All the performances that I went to clearly had a lot of thought and effort put into them and this is not meant to spread hate.

I-dle Syncopation – 02/21

9.5/10 I went to this concert about 2 days after I arrived in Seoul and my dad went with me. The concert was incredible and the stage was so well designed. It was especially memorable and meaningful since in 2023 I-dle was my first concert and this time my dad got to go with me to see the perform.

MOA Con – 02/27 and 02/28

9/10 I went to both the first and second day for the shows. Both days were a lot of fun and the members all did an amazing job. I was a little annoyed though since I had the ver. 1 of their lightstick and it didn’t work so I had to get a new ver. 2 one for the second day.

Wonho Stay Awake – 03/01

7/10 The performance was fine but the venue was very small and my view was bad. I was maybe 15 rows back but could barely see the stage due to the set up. The girl I was sitting next to was super nice and let me switch with her since she was a lot taller than me and could see better.

B.I. Last Parade – 03/01 (yes I went to 2 performances in one day)

7.5/10 His performance was good and he did a good job creating a party vibe with people jumping and singing along. However I got standing tickets and ended up struggling to see and being pushed around a lot by the crowd.

P1Harmony Most Wanted – 03/06

9/10 Their concert was a lot fun but the venue was right next to where RIIZE was it was super crowded.

RIIZE RIIZING LOUD – 03/07 03/08

9.5/10 The set/stage for these concerts were genuinely amazing. It had some of the most elaborate stage pieces I have seen. The performances were both great. The only downside is that my seat was on the edge.

ILLIT Live Press Start – 03/14

9/10 Their concert was a lot of fun and the people around me were all really into it. Also they gave out free m&ms!

WOODZ Archive 1. – 03/15

8/10 WOODZ was incredible. His vocals are truly amazing. The venue sucks. I absolutely hate Inspire Arena and after WOODZ and IVE I decided that I will not attend any other events there.

ONEUS Welcome to US’s Island – 03/21

8/10 Even as a casual fan of ONEUS the fanmeeting was a lot of fun. The games they chose did a good job highlighting the different members’ strong points and entertaining fans.

Dive into IVE – 03/22

4/10 I have a post where I talk about more but IVE’s fan concert was generally pretty disappointing. I really didn’t like the venue( Inspire Arena). The venue is far away and difficult to get to and very over stimulating. The actual show was only okay. Instead of a fan concert it felt more like a modeling event with the games chosen being all about how pretty IVE were instead of showing off their talents (like dancing, or variety).

SVT World Tour [New_] – 04/05

9/10 SVT always put on a great show; it was also announced that all of them resigned at the concert. Even when it started downpouring and was thundering and lightening the members were energetic and giving it their all. The venue was far and kind of annoying to get to though.

LoveSome Festival Day 2 – 04/12

6.5/10 The festival was fun but the weather was very warm that day and people would set their stuff down really early and then come back like 4 hours later since most people only cared about RIIZE. Other than some annoying fans the Festival was fun although I did leave for an hour or so since I was hot and thirsty and didn’t want to over pay for Festival food and drink. The festival staff was also not super helpful so there was confusion around rules and directions.

Yena – 04/04

5.5/10 Standing is not for me. I was number like 80 for standing and figured that would be fine but unfortunately the people around me were all much taller than me and several of them were holding up phones (and cameras) blocking my view and others. It was also really hot and people were crowding. It wasn’t Yena’s fault but I feel like there should have been better crowd control. The performance (the parts I could see) were good.

The Boyz Inter-zection – 04/25

8.5/10 Over all the concert was a lot of fun But there were a couple of moments where things seemed off. Also Eric was absolutely right to sit out due to injury but I wish I gotnto see him dance.

Xnghan Let’s Glow Fanmeeting – 04/26 2pm/6pm

10/10 I love him so much. He did such a good job. I went to both fanmeetings and while he was clearly nervous he did a great job and was genuinely super entertaining for the two hour fanmeets. He also performed two songs from his comeback that was happening the day after and it was really cool to get a sneak peek like that. I also got a free slogan, penlight, and photocard at both shows! I have a more detailed post where I talk about the fanmeetings.

Xnghan Mcountdown prerecording – 04/30

9.5/10 This was my first pre-recording ever. It was free to attend (I did need to have an active membership, copy of the album, and a Melon download). For a free event it was a lot of fun to attend and I got to meet a lot of other Xnghan fans. The downside is that since Xnghan is a soloist and a rookie he only did his prerecording twice. Also due to the melon account restriction it is difficult/impossible for people who do not have Korean residency to participate. I know some people pay to use proxies but I wouldn’t.

Xnghan MBC Show prerecording – 05/02

10/10 This prerecording was so much fun and Xnghan performed three times instead of twice like the other prerecording I went to. I also won a signed polaroid! It was a fun (and free) way to spend my Saturday morning.

Xnghan Apple Music fansign – 05/10

9/10 this was the first fansign I have ever gone to. Xnghan was super nice and the phototime was a lot of fun. However I was super nervous and basically forgot both Korean and English and spent my minute talking to him stuttering and apologizing.

Xnghan Everline fansign – 05/15

10/10 This fansign was so much fun and I was less nervous so it went better. It was on my birthday so it was a nice way to celebrate. I was able to articulate myself much better and got to talk to him and ask him the questions I had.

KiiiKiii KiiiKiii Festival – 05/17

6/10 I liked some of their songs so I decided to go to their concert. The performance was okay and the members seemed nice. I just didn’t find the show super engaging.

Irene I Will – 05/24

8.5/10 The concert was great and her outfits were all so pretty but the MD booth sold out quickly and entering the venue was very chaotic
