Ok so I think Ik what he is doing (I’m sure there are people who have figured this out before me)
He supports them fully in their rookie years (2-3, maybe 4) then abandons them to work on a new group or just starts giving them solos.
He supported 2NE1 initially and then abandoned them (disbanded them too)
He supported Blackpink in their rookie time, then gave them solos and no more group songs
Now with babymonster he has already that they he will monitor them closely in their rookie years (2-3) then move onto next projects.
Honestly this is a very weird strategy, almost guaranteed to make the next group a target of hate (ig negative attention is still attention).
It’s like what HYBE did but YG has been doing it for years and more discreetly
ALSO, STOP COMPARING BM TO BP, THE MEMBERS THEMSELVES HAVE SAID THAT THEY WANT YO BE THEIR OWN PERSON, NOT SOMEONE’s SHADOW.
YG is honestly such a disgusting person. The whole situation with his wife, then 2NE1 disbandment, BP’s lack of songs and now sexualization of minors in babymonster. So disturbing
