For South Korean citizens, do you usually refer to the North as 조선 instead of 북한?

I mean, I know that in standard SK language, they call North Korea ‘북한’ (bukhan) instead of its actual name ‘조선민주주의인민공화국’, which usually distinguish from its actual Joseon dynasty that spans for half a millenium, but I wonder if SK people calling the North “Joseon” is an optional way, because here in Vietnam we didn’t call the north “Bắc Hàn” just like the SKs did, but we call it “Triều Tiên” which was the actual name of the country in Viet language, but this is easily distinguisable as we still call the Joseon dynasty the same way it is, that’s what I was curious about since many of the SK citizens who visited Vietnam for the first time might found our language confused because of the exact reason I said on this post
