Since yesterday, k-fearnots have been openly expressing their dissatisfaction with the fimmies and the label and this whole thing has been going viral. The shocking part is that even fan accounts with thousands of followers were joining in on the criticism, and it opened the floodgates for a whole lot more fans to come forward with their own complaints.
They were saying things like “Lsfm have never been a group that showed much love to their fans, and they don’t give back nearly as much as other groups,” “there’s barely any content on their channel,” “the girls never follow through with the promises they make,” “they don’t do unit weverse lives”, “no group birthday lives,” “tired of their bad musical direction,” “chaewon barely communicates through weverse dm,” “eunchae only replies to fan accounts she recognizes,” “the girls and staff are neglecting fearnots and are too busy hanging out with each other,” and “they don’t seem to feel any urgency despite the fandom being smaller than it was back in 2024.” And the list goes on and on…
Naturally, because all of this was gaining traction, the international side of the fandom started taking notice, with many calling k-fearnots ungrateful. In response, k-fearnots would tell them to stay in their lane if they don’t know anything. It’s just a whole lot of drama within the fandom all around…
From everything I read, k-fearnots are primarily unhappy with the lack of interaction from the girls, particularly with their domestic fanbase as they don’t feel like they’re appreciated, as well as the label’s failure to provide enough content for fans to enjoy while the group is occupied with consecutive tours over an extended period and their inability to give a good musical direction for the group.
After witnessing this whole drama, I realized just how impossible it is to keep both the domestic AND the international fandom happy at the same time. What one side considers perfectly reasonable expectations from their favorite group, the other side might see as excessive or downright ungrateful. And when you have a fandom spread across different countries with different expectations and priorities, it’s almost inevitable that these disagreements will arise. You simply can’t appease everyone, and it made me sad to see all this drama unfold within the fandom itself…
