Hello,
I have been a kpop fan since 2019 and i was practically glued to twitter and treated it like my daily newspaper. I have witnessed quite a few iconic moments like stan loona, oli london, jackson wang’s reaction during jyp and hwasa’s performance, soobin and arin’s dadada moment and their MC moments, jopping trend, i was up for all the comebacks and year end awards, voted for my fav artists witnessed kpop stans spamming fancams under posts unrelated to kpop and I have witnessed many fanwars ( I am laughing thinking about how seriously I took these) and many more things until adulthood happened in 2023 which pushed me away from kpop.
3 years later, i am in a better place, came back on twitter to enjoy something that made me really happy years ago.
So what has changed since then? I went to mnet and kbs to watch some fancams and performance videos and I noticed they have very less views compared to how it was few years ago. I couldn’t see bts, twice ateez, txt stray kids and seventeen’s and many other popular group’s performance on these channels or maybe I missed it somewhere while scrolling. Do they even perform there or not?
What’s new and what’s changed all these years and how is kpop now?
