I’ll start these are my current favorites from the k-bands and boy groups I listen to! I mostly listen to boy groups so a majority of them will be from those 😭
Again there will be no girl groups !!!
K-BANDS:
LUCY/LUCY ISLAND: Sangyeop + Wonsang
– LUCY is my #1 K-band currently, I love their vocals and songs especially Sangyeop his vocal work is 😩
– not just the voices but they have a VIOLINIST and ugh he’s incredible
– their live performances + SERIES.L performances are addicting with the orchestra
– all of their songs are incredible, especially Sequel is my favorite angsty song from them
– I listen to them on REPEAATTT
– their Childish album was beautiful I swear.
XDH/XDINARY HEROES: Jooyeon
– love his ability make his vocals sound like he went through multiple divorces and yearning
– all of their songs are so good especially their more angst songs
N.FLYING: Hwe-Seung
– his vocals are NASTYYY like how dare you
– N.Flying has some addicting songs, I liked their vocals new release
ONEWE + ONEUS: Giuk + Yonghoon / Ravn + Leedo?:
– I LOVED ONEWE’S latest release with ICARUS, the whole song was chefs kiss and the mv was pretty
– I’m still getting into learning their names so I may have put the wrong name
– learning that they’re a brother group was interesting for me !
DAY6: Wonpil + Jae (loved his voice):
– DAY6 was my first introduction into K-bands, I got into them when Jae was still with them, I also liked Wonpil’s voice and how gentle it sounded
Honorable mentions: WAVE TO EARTH, CNBLUE, DRAGON PONY + more
K-POP BOYGROUPS:
BTOB: their entire vocal line + Eunkwang
– they’re the kings of vocals for a reason I’ll give you that
– I got into them awhile ago and I’m still learning their names
– Eunkwang stuck out to me the most and he’s my bias (I think I hate picking biases it’s so difficult)
– Finale is my current favorite song from them
SVT/SEVENTEEN: Dokyeom
– he’s my current bias in SVT
– his vocals shined SO much in Kidult; my favorite song from them
– even with his release with Seungkwan, both of them are incredible vocalists
Honorable mention: Woozi, my short king love him
NCT DREAM/NCT: Mark + Haechan
– Mark, I miss you and your flow but I’ll be supporting him with his solo stuff !
– when I got into NCT Mark was my bias and I remained loyal to that man and then Haechan eventually slid his way into my biases
– I loved both of their solo albums and I still listen to them to this day
P1HARMONY: Intak + Jeongseob + Jiung
– I’m so glad I got into P1HARMONY, their creativity is so infectious
– I love when we see these three go back to back with rapping
– Jeongseob’s flow in LOYL + Pretty Boy + DUH, Intak’s in ICE VVS, and Jiung’s in DUH as well
– Jiung I would say is an allrounder as well: dance, sing, and rap
CORTIS: Martin + Keonho (but I lowkey love all their voices so all)
– I am an absolute FAN and have Joyride on replay like a maniac, when I first listened to it, I was HOOKEEEDDD
– I enjoy their vlogs and how simple they are with the editing
– they’re also in my age group so I get to grow up with them !!
– loved their GREENGREEN release
LNGSHOT: Woojin + Ryul
– I have no clue what they’re feeding idols these days but their songs have been consistently good
– loved all of the songs from their EP ‘SHOTCALLERS’ + 4SHOBOIZ MIXTAPE + 4SHOVILLE
– I love how involved Jay Park is with the multiple tracks we see him on with them
– fell in love with both Woojin’s voice and Ryul’s rap and his flow feels so natural
BTS: Yoongi
– BTS was my first introduction to K-pop and what really got me interested into it, Yoongi is my bias and I love his voice and rap
– I don’t listen to them that often anymore but when I do I always listen to their older tracks and solo stuff
Honorable mention: ATEEZ
If you don’t see any groups on here I didn’t mention, I don’t listen to them !!
