Which 2000s K-pop song would still be a hit if it were released today?

My picks are down below.

  1. “10 Minutes” by Lee Hyori

As a Korean kid who grew up in the ’90s, I witnessed every phase of her solo career. Just like Beyoncé with “Crazy in Love,” this debut single put her right on top. I think Koreans were obsessed with her for a lot of reasons—her beauty, her styling, and her sense of humor. And the intro to “10 Minutes” will forever be legendary

  1. “My Name” – BoA

I feel like Lee Hyori was THE female star while BoA was THE female artist and performer, and this was probably her biggest hit.

  1. “Anyclub” ft. Teddy by Lee Hyori

This was way too good for a song made to promote a Samsung phone lol The first song she did for a Samsung phone campaign, “Anymotion,” was probably a lot more popular, but this one sounds more modern to me.

What are your picks?
