The Koma clan (고마씨, 高麗氏) is a korean immigrant royal family descended from Goguryeo Prince Go Yakgwang who became known as “Koma no Jakkō”, He was a son of the 28th and last Emperor of Goguryeo, Bojang. The Koma clan was founded in the early 8th century by Goguryeo refugees who came to Japan after the fall of the Goguryeo dynasty.
