Lets do a fun prediction game: Which girl group/s other than Blackpink and Twice who can do a stadium tour in the next 1-2 years?
As much as we have seen the touring numbers for kpop across the board seem to be affected in past 1 year – we have also seen more groups who are doing world tours nowadays – be it a small scale to stadium/dome sized tour.
Which girl group can do a stadium scale tour? It does not need to be a full stadium tour – 50% (say an example 15 out of 30 dates are stadiums/domes with capacity of 30k+), so at least most or majority of the tour is a stadium/dome sized tour.
We have so many successful groups with millions of streams and album sales nowadays. Last stadium tour for girl groups are from 3rd gen – BP/Twice. Will newer gen 4th or 5th gen have their own stadium tour?
Which girl group can sell at least 1 million seats for a tour next? So far for male groups we have Big Bang, BTS, Seventeen and SKZ who already sold over 1 million seats for a tour. BP and Twice for girl groups.
Share your thoughts of who will be next and why? And if you do not think any group can potentially do at least 50% of stadium/dome capacity (30k+) – why do you not think so?
