I’ve been thinking about this and I’m confused.

EJAE is a Korean artist who won multiple major global awards for her music, including the Grammy Awards, Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and Critics’ Choice Awards. These are awards that K-pop artists and the industry often talk about and show interest in.
I’ve seen a lot of Korean netizens celebrating her, but I haven’t really seen much public support or congratulations from major K-pop or music industry artists.
For example, artists from groups like BTS,who have openly shown interest in the Grammys before or other big names in the industry.
Even if the project she was part of was global, she’s still a Korean artist achieving something historic on a huge level. So why does it feel like the response from major industry figures is so quiet??Like if it happened in my country or even in other countries, everyone would treat it as a national pride and all the celebs would collectively post and congratulate..
Is this because of company control over idols’ social media, industry norms, or something else?
I’m not trying to criticize anyone, just curious about how this works so please don’t throw hate at me.
