What is missing from Lisa’s solo career?

Lisa’s Press Play debuting at #35 on the Billboard 200 has me wondering about her solo career trajectory.
Considering she’s a member of one of the biggest kpop groups in the world, I expected a stronger debut.

She has RCA and Sony behind her, a strong marketing campaign, industry connections and seemingly all the resources necessary to make her releases successful.
She’s also had major promotional opportunities, including the PlayStation collaboration, alongside radio support. Yet the results aren’t really reflecting that level of investment.

Take “Tarantino” as an example. It was the most-added song on radio, but barely charted for a week before landing on Bubbling Under. How does a song receive that much radio support and still struggle to translate it into actual chart performance?

I genuinely wonder if there’s a disconnect between Lisa’s global celebrity status and her actual music-consuming audience. Is the music not connecting with the general public? Is her fanbase not converting into consistent commercial support? Or is something missing in the overal strategy?
