What happened to sexuality between men and women in K-pop?

During second gen and early third gen, depictions of sexuality between men and women were much more popular in K-pop. Look at this mv from 2PM, for example. One of the members literally appears shirtless in bed with a woman. This was 2013, which is really not that long ago. What happened?

Observe the sexual tension between 2PM and SNSD in the changing room at the beginning of this mv. Some people at the time thought it was laughably tame, but it would be unthinkable now. Imagine, like, aespa and Stray Kids shooting a scene like this. Lol.

And I know “fans would explode if their oppas did something implicitly sexual with a woman,” but my question is, why is it like that now when it wasn’t before? It was only 10-15 years ago that you could openly depict idols making out with the opposite sex in an mv. What happened in the interim that led to sexuality between men and women becoming so verboten?
