I do love Hearts2Hearts’ songs since their debut. So far, they haven’t had a miss in their discography, and I’m looking forward to their upcoming mini-album. I’m not planning to stan the girls since it feels weird to stan 16- to 20-year-olds. But you know, I do listen to their title tracks a lot.
In terms of visuals, others say that Hearts2Hearts doesn’t look like typical SM artists. They criticize their looks a lot, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with them. You know, let them look like kids. No shade, but aespa members have started to look alike recently compared to when they debuted. Ye-on’s visuals are also under criticism, but I think it’s normal for her to look like that. She’s still very young, so I hope people won’t be too harsh on her appearance.
In terms of vocals, people say they have the weakest vocal range. I think I can attest to that. But what matters to me is how they perform and their stage presence. Plus, vocals can be trained over time, and I’m glad that Carmen carries the group in terms of vocals. If you compare the group to Red Velvet, SNSD, and aespa, they don’t have that much vocal range yet. I don’t think it matters with their current cute concept. I also can’t distinguish their voices sometimes since they sound the same. Maybe I’m just not a huge fan.
