Nvidia CEO’s visit to Korea stokes hopes on physical AI collaboration

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is set to visit Korea this week, stoking expectations over the artificial intelligence (AI) platform company’s collaboration with Korean partners in the field of physical AI. According to industry officials, Huang will visit Korea after appearing at major chip industry events in Taiwan, including GTC Taipei 2026 and COMPUTEX 2026. Given that GTC Taipei 2026, an Nvidia event, runs through Thursday, his schedule in Korea is expected to begin on Friday. Huang’s previous visit to Korea in October last year created headlines as he met with key partners including Samsung Electronics, SK hynix and Hyundai Motor Group to coordinate major issues related to high-bandwidth memory supplies and next-generation AI chip development.
