I have been a follower of SBS LIsten for all seasons. I am an Asian but live in the west. In this season Suho really showcased his vocal growth on The Listen, delivering powerful belts and demonstrating impressive control, confidence, and versatility. Yet, despite these strong performances, the videos haven’t gained significant views or traction. It makes me wonder what’s missing. Is it a lack of promotion, limited exposure beyond his existing fanbase, or simply that the performances aren’t reaching the right audience? He clearly has the vocal ability, but that growth doesn’t seem to be translating into wider recognition. It’s frustrating because The Listen could have been a great opportunity for more people to discover just how much awesome he is as a singer. Just trying to understanding how idols are perceived in another spaces (i mean outside pop and R&B)? I can see lot of rave reviews on social media (Insta/X/Tik Tok) )but why doesnt that translate in YT Views. Are Korean fans averse to listening to idols in other forums?
