Objective
The whole song is basically rapping but the bridge. The chorus production is basic and simple which is not a bad thing. The rapping is kind of cheap like it just there to fill the song. The pre chorus where it breaks down is good. This is song is not for them, and it doesn’t suit some of the members. Maybe Asa, Ruka could’ve done this song together. The bridge is okay. Maybe a little more synth or pad to fill in the second chorus. It follows the YG formula as always nothing new nothing different. The melodies are great.
Bass is good, beat is nice, but the rapping verses have a simple rhythm, but it needs more editing.
Baby monster’s sound is hard to explain because of the inconsistencies. The name doesn’t match the whole group image. It’s like they didn’t plan how to present the group sound and image properly. They’re just given YG songs with too much focus on the YG formula when they should be focusing on what their sound should be like.
When I think of the word Baby monster, I think of sweet but spice like bunch of wild animals having fun. Which is a good concept idea for a group.
With music, I feel like the production should let loose and have little fun if they want to create Babymonster music. Psycho is a great Baby monster song. This song is tailored made for the group. Songs similar like psycho or drip would be nice.
Can somebody please tell YG the man himself to step away from writing songs for them. I’m serious. I’m tired of seeing his name in the credits. Thank you

I kind of like it, I see it as a grower because of me not liking the whole song. I don’t know if I see myself playing this song but I’ll see. I don’t like the suggestive sensual movements they have chiquita and ahyeon doing. I remember saying to myself “no”. I didn’t want to see ahyeon shaking her hips during that bridge. This is a song review but the choreography is a no for me.
