Restaurant food: hot-stone bibimbap, bulgogi, soon tofu, steamed eggs

We went to a new restaurant that opened (in Flushing NY) recently, called Guldari. We ordered (as named on the menu/receipt):

Hot-stone bibimbap, bulgogi, soon tofu (with beef, shrimp, clams, mussles), and steamed egg.

Every dish was excellent. I don’t really like to eat clams or mussels, but I never seem to have a problem when they’re in a tofu dish (or seafood pancake). There’s also something about white rice made in Korean restaurants that just makes it taste better than white rice made in Chinese restaurants (googling it says it’s a just different grain of rice, with a different ratio of water). Even the banchan selection was really good, especially the mini potatoes… whatever the sauce/dressing was had us asking for more 😋
