Friendly Reminder: It’s A2O (Lite, Soul, May). Not A20.

(Apologies in advance if this sounds patronizing, I really tried my best not to make it sound so 😓)

Can someone help me understand why the latter, incorrect spelling of the name is so widespread? I think almost everyone has heard neon by now, where A2O Lite say their name (A-two-O) in the literal first verse:

Grab a hold on to something tight, A2O the LITE

In case you know hangul, A2O Lite’s korean name:
에이투오 라이트
ei-tu-o lai-teu
A-2-O Li-te

eituo sounds a lot more like A2O than “A-twenty”

Luckily, I have two fun ways for you to remember it! 🙂
First: A2O stands for Alpha-to-Omega (let’s just ignore how cringe the name is).
Second: Since everyone likes to remember that A2O LITE are fetuses, just use the fact that none of them are 20 years old to remind yourself that there’s no 20 in the name! (I believe the same thing holds for A2O SOUL if we go by international age.)

I know it seems like a trivial thing to make a post about. And I know me being peeved by that might peeves you which is I get. But wouldn’t it irk you a bit if people constantly wrote:
– Ten (nct) as 10
– The8 as TheEight (well Idt anyone calls him by that stage name anyways…)
– Hao / Zhang Hao as zhanghao
– Chan / Bang Chan as bangchan
– KiiiKiii as KiiKii
– Billlie as Billie (I guess two letters in a row is a limit for some)
– etc etc.

I hope that soon people are able to write A2O correctly one day. But with how widespread the incorrect spelling is, so much that even fans of the A2O groups write it incorrectly, I’m not so sure…

Does anyone else have a group or person they follow that has gone through the same thing? How long did it take to correct the people misspelling it?
