Jyp is making a big mistake with girlset, hybe is clearly sabotaging this group and redirecting them to become katseye shadow with the release of their song CHAT, we all know jyp hired a former katseye team or sumthing and following katseye footsteps won’t do them any good, people ridicule katseye because of those kind of songs so why would you follow katseye footsteps? I fear it will only work once because hybe rely on shock factor and girlset needs to create their own identity, someone on their team needs to get it together and be serious and release more song like little Miss or tweak because people actually wanna see and hear those kind of songs and if you’re making the same type of songs as katseye, people will only see you as the temu version and will actually solidify katseye position more as trendsetters and leaders in this new space of music, they need to create their own space its not too late, you just need to keep making listenable songs like little Miss and make people dance whenever they hear your songs, CHAT is clearly not doing that.
