Many Korean celebrities and idols are mentioning/praising Cortis…will they influence the industry like NJ once did?

We have Korean rappers like Reddy praising how Cortis lyrics are very different from idols lyrics and feel more authentic since the company gives them creative freedom to express their own story. Hyunseung (a 2nd gen idol from group Beast) says Cortis is the only boygroup he likes since their music completely fits his taste, and that he wants to move his younger fans to Cortis. Other celebrities like actress Han Sohee, Moon Chaewon, T-ara Soyeon, SNSD Hyoyeon … have mentioned that they love the group too. Recently, Jennie did RedRed choreo when she never danced any other idols’ choreo. Popular variety shows like Amazing Saturday have referenced Cortis, and the term “young creator crew” (youngkeukeu) is now a funny slang used by Koreans. Cortis’s cultural impact reminded me of NewJeans when they debuted and a lot of celebrities and hiphop artists also showed love to them. Do you think Cortis’s concept and vibe will influence 5th gen and 6th gen like NewJeans once did? What is so special about Cortis that so many people, even men who don’t usually listen to male idol music, end up liking them?
