Looking for Korean sauce made from gochujang but sweeter served in squeeze bottle at table

Sorry for a simple question that probably everyone knows but me. Years ago, I used to eat often at a restaurant in Mountain View, CA called Bibimbowl. (Don’t know if they are still there, but I moved out of state.) They had a sauce in squeeze bottles on the tables that was made from gochujang and I don’t know what else that was very delicious, just a bit spicy, a bit sweet, and not thick and pasty like gochujang. Is there a well-known name for that kind of sauce? I’ve seen a recipe for bibimbap that has a sauce made from 4T gochujang, 1T honey, 1/2t sesame oil, 1-1/2t mirin, and some water to dilute that is similar, but it still comes out too thick and spicy (even with mild gochujang) unless we add extra of everything except gochujang. Does anyone have a milder alternative recipe?
