HOLYYY I have watched most of Kpop groups and their performances and their mics were on and they were ready to devour the stage!!
I think for the longest time this is what I was missing, not saying it was never there I just never saw it till now and im so glad I did as my respect for these artists went through the roof.
From what I watched, the stage presence and crowd interaction were so peak. One of my favs in this was ADP and CORTIS I have always loved their stage presence but every performance they always manage to top it. CORTIS especially with their YCC song like it was insane, I love how all members are enjoying the stage so well.
Meovv did so extremely well, their songs always hit and the members are so damn talented and their performance was really good. Aespa being aespa, literally hit after hit and the crowd responded. The members looked like legit cgi dolls and they sang even better than the original cd version.
BND also performed, and when have they ever let down honestly. I really love their songs and the members performed so well at the festival it was insane. From start till the end they only increased their stage presence
Fromis_9 queens also performed and they were amazing. I really wish they keep getting more and more popular because they deserve it and speaking of that even KiiiKiiii performed and they were so great aswell. So so incredible to see such good performances from them.
PSY like do I even need to say it?? He is 48 but gave the stage presence and vocals that did not match that at all.
Also last but not the least, Taeyang from BIGBANG although he was solo he did perform a few BIGBANG songs (fantastic baby and bang bang bang was so good) – especially bang bang bang I think that’s the loudest crowd I heard but that’s something I hear every time bigbang pulls up with this song because atp it is crowned as the national hype anthem of k-pop
Besides k-pop artists, there were a few I listen to who were SO good!!
AKMU – Guys if you have time you should check out their performance because it’s so amazing <3 Dinosaur and Nakka being so well received like that’s the 2 queens right there. I honestly expected nothing less from the national duo – this was one stage that I didnt skip to the songs and even listened to their speeches because they make it so fun and enjoyable every minute of it
H1GHR MUSIC – If you guys listen to k-hiphop or watched SMTM you can recognize some of their names. I like mainly one artist from here, BIG NAUGHTY whose music is absolute peak and he sings and performs so incredibly well and he did the same for that festival aswell. Aside from him, they overall brought so much energy to the stage especially with my favorite song from the H1GHR album “The Purge” and they also performed a remix of VVS which was so goated.
