I am a casual and not a very knowledgeable kpop fan (if i can even say this, huh), but I was blown away since Good Girl. No shades to a big young groups like Illit, MEOVV or even another fellow rookies Hearts2Hearts, but they’re doing nothing for me. But AtHeart clicked for me from the start. They has IT, something fresh, catchy and unique. How Good Girl was a PRE Debut is absolutely wild. Such a fantastic bop and MV is so cozy and stunning. They should’ve promoted more of this, it was kinda weird to forgot about them for months after such intro. That DeepDeep is addictive as hell.
Girls are SO good for a 1st year. Arin maybe one of the my new fav girls, she has mature visual, confident vibe, wonderful stage presence and her dancing is very polished. And Michi and Nahyun just gives big visual star vibes, especially Michi with her unique look.
Now they’re keep killing it with gems like Plot Twist or Knew Me, which is sadly not as popular. Did you see that choreo from Plot Twist performances with heads spin? OMG. One of the most amazing moves ever. And overall concept is also so cool.
But i also have a question for a people with k-pop knowledge and who watch this girls too. How popular is group from a views standpoint, how they’re doing in SK in terms of sales, is their fandom is decent enough for a new group? Plot Twist MV and even GG for pre debut is kinda nice, no?
And i kinda don’t understand how to view this group from a label standpoint. It’s an underdog with small founding or potential beast? Titan is new for sure, but backed up by Han Se-min and Lia Kim. Is that enough starpower?
