Lotte to hold Korea Shopping Festa in Vietnam

South Korea’s Lotte Group holds “2024 Korea Shopping Festa with Lotte” in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The group and the Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups open this event to support South Korean small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners.

This is the first opening ceremony of the Companion Festival being held overseas.

Lotte Group entered the Vietnamese market with 19 subsidiaries, spanning sectors such as retail and food.

In this event, Lotte Group and the Korean government organized an export consultation meeting and a pop-up store to support domestic SMEs and small business owners.

A promotional event featuring products from SMEs and small business owners selected by Lotte was held on the first basement floor of Lotte Mart at Lotte Mall. Interactive spaces for visitors, including K-food tasting and beauty product experiences, were also set up.

Sales events were conducted through online shopping malls operating in Vietnam, such as Shopee, Southeast Asia’s largest online shopping platform, and Gmarket Global.

For local customers interested in K-beauty, a digital nail art experience booth and a makeup show event led by makeup artists invited from South Korea were also held.
