Why do kpop idols keep debuting if the industry is so dark and exploitative?

No because everytime someone mentions kpop is the worst industry to work in and how it’s so dark and exploitative I’m like then why do they try so hard to debut?

I mean those survival shows are truly wild. The betray each other play mind games to get to first place.Afterall it’s probably not that bad as fans make it out to be.Most of the idols renew contracts when it’s time is up.If you’re in a big company you make good money too.I know overworking exist in kpop industry but even then they seem like enough free time to have hobbies, make friends and to date.
