While watching MJ biopic, It hit me why there isn’t a Kpop Idol Biopic? I think there should be. Who do Guys is most suitable for it? Boa?Rain? Even JYP or YG?

I am really curious about Kpop industry from inside and usually Biopic about an artists give you better idea what kind of happened behind the scenes , Yeah I know sometimes things are more dramatize or sometimes it isn’t a truth.

But even though I have loved movies like Bohemian Rhapsody, Elvis and Rocket Man and 8 Mile.

Not to mention tonnes of other artists.

Boa: I thought of Boa as I think she is most suitable currently to make a biopic about, Like it will gives is inside early SM and Trainee System, also other groups of that time. What is like to be debut etc. If I remember she also faced lot is Sasaeng fans etc.

I don’t if Kpop Idols will reveal their dating history and how they date while hide from fans etc. that will be cool to see. But still I think there other candidates.

Rain : From being a Back Up dancer of JYP and begging JYP to train him and debut as Soloist, It will be a great Zero to Hero story add the Romance story between Korean Top actress like Kim Tae Hee. That’s Romance story deserves film itself.

It will also give look into JYP entertainment early days and more about JYP.

JYP : while thinking about Rain I think he might be still too young, Then I thought wnt not about JYP.

I am actually serious like his story is great because getting rejected from SM for looks and then basically self train himself as soloist or what ever music education he got.

Competing against groups like Seotaji and Kids at that time etc. then Spending days in US for Western music influence to starting his own JYP lable.

Debuting group Like HOT, Rain, Wonder Girls and then Fall Of JYP Ent between early 2013-2015 era, Then 2PM and Suzy working their asses off. Birth of Twice and Stray Kids and Return of glory something like these.

YG: To be honest I don’t know much about him expect his was member of Seotaji and Kids and the formed his own label which failed. But tried again and succeeded with Hip hop style and later when artist like like Seven and Big Bang.

I know he does have some controversies about him.

Now I mentioned all my candidates, I do hope if they ever make them they just dont whitewash all bad descision and mistakes they made.

  • Thinking in 3 languages
The biggest lesson I have learnt about language did not come from my Korean classroom. It came while reading an English essay written by my Korean student. Until recently, I assumed learning a language was mostly about memorizing vocabulary and grammar. After all, that is what language classes often seem to revolve around. Now, after studying English, Chinese and Korean,… Read more: Thinking in 3 languages

  • The ‘new’ 6.25 of Korean genealogy
Americans call it the Korean War. Koreans call the three-year fratricidal war that broke out on June 25, 1950, the “yug-i-o,” meaning the day the war began. Like Dec. 7, 1941 (“a day that will live in infamy” — FDR), or Sept. 11, 2001, these were days so horrific that the event is known by that day as a numeric.… Read more: The ‘new’ 6.25 of Korean genealogy
