Question to non-asian kpop fans, do you bias wasian idols and asians that grew up in the west more easily/more frequently then others in general?

Also, do you feel drawn to other non east asian idols more easily too? (SEA mostly I guess)

Or is it just me? And I am a fucking weirdo

I think the first member to usually catch my attention in groups is the wasian or non-east-asian idol. Like, I hear about them and interact with content that shows them more. I tend to take a liking to them almost immediately.

I remember that as a teen back then I was actively seeking out idols that were wasians. Like Nancy from Momoland, Vernon from Seventeen, Huening kai from TXT, Bahiyyih from Kep1er, Danielle from Newjeans. If I heard of them I would like actively watch their fancams. All of their fancams. Before even stanning the group. I did this kind of unconsciously. It is lowkey weird.

And now it happened again where all I hear is ‘Carmen from H2H’ and I just hyper-focused on Carmen for some time and watched all her fancams.

Idk why I do this. Am I the only one who does this?

Edit: I think the Wasian Idol usually intrigues me the most but after getting to know the group I usually have a different favourite member afterwards…?
