Basically what the title says. I’m not a fearnot, but Le Sserafim are one of the few groups that I will always tune in to, when they have any comebacks. They were the first ever group that I thought of stanning after BTS, but ultimately did not because being an army takes up too much of my time.
I’ve followed their careers from when they first debuted as 6 to now, and have always always enjoyed their output. Even when other fans had something to say, personally I have never had anything that I disliked in whatever they’ve put out. Until Pureflow.
I think I struggled as to why I have any issues with this album in particular. It isn’t particularly offensive. But I just felt very… meh about it. The songs on the albums ARE nice. and some of them are bops. Finally had an epiphany as to why.
I realised its because of both Boompala and Celebration. Those two songs really really mess with the flow of the album (to me) and i’ve always been an album listener. I think sonically my ears can still forgive boompala but for some reason celebration is particularly egregious to my ears and i can’t explain why.
After I made the executive decision to hide those songs when listening to the album, Pureflow become so much more enjoyable.
