what is the actual reason for all these short songs groups keep dropping?

i have always heard the influx of shorter songs is a result of the tiktokification of the industry but that has never made that much sense to me. surely if a song is longer then there’s a bigger chance it will go viral as theres more parts of it that can be clipped and potentially turned into a trend.

some of these might be wrong but you should still be able to see my point.

bts – dynamite (3:19)
blackpink – how you like that (3:01)
twice – the feels (3:18)
enhypen – polaroid love (3:04)
aespa – whiplash (3:03)
txt – anti romanic (3:35)

almost everyone else i checked had their most popular songs under 3 minutes – some were on the brink such as lsf, fiftyfifty, ive (2:50s)

if you were to ask me, the reason is much more likely linked to streaming rather than tiktok. if you guys have any other theories i would really like to hear them.
