The context: From March 2023 to December 2024, while serving as a social service worker at the Mapo Facilities Management Corporation and Mapo Community Convenience Center in Seoul, he was accused of repeatedly failing to properly report to duty. Even on days he did show up, he allegedly spent only short periods at the facilities, much of it playing games before leaving early. This was brought up to the public after he was called out by fellow service workers for his poor attendance and performance.
Today was his trial. The prosecution stated that the defendant(MINO) was absent without authorization for an extended period and did not perform actual duties even when he was present. And just now, it’s been reported that he has been requested to and facing a possible 18 months in prison as a result.
Man… what a turn of events. Who would’ve thought that the most commercially successful member of the group would end up facing prison time? He’s likely going to be blacklisted from the industry even when he gets out. To throw it all away because he couldn’t just show up and sit on the desk for 5 days a week…
