(Disclaimer: I am asking this out of curious intent only, please remain respectful in the comments. This is not meant to attack/hate on any of the members).
Okay so I used to be a die-hard Army, but lately I’m more of a casual fan now who checks their music from time to time. Since I’m not that much involved in the fandom as I used to be, I might be missing some things, lately
but I’ve noticed something about Jin.
It seems like he’s the member who rarely gets into any you know controversy or scandals as an individual himself. I mean the only “scandal” he had was that one dorm photo of him during debut days (iykyk) and I’d say that is literally it and that’s the only controversy he had compared to the other controversies the rest of the members had. If you look at the list of all the members controversies, his was basically it, like nothing else was mentioned after that.
But I do know that he makes like certain comments towards you know things such as weight, but again I feel like some situations like this can be interpreted differently depending on the context. Which again I’d find minor idk
I know the group has been in controversy lately especially with the whole Chris brown thing with Namjoon and Jhope attending his concert and then JK and V listening to his music in a live. I know that during this discourse, a lot of fans were saying they are going to switch biased after this but I haven’t really seen Jin mentioned in those discussions. Maybe it’s simply because he hasn’t given people much reason to reconsider him in that way?
Honestly, I’d love to have Jin as my bias in the group regardless what other says like he’s witty, he has a relatable personality, I like some of his solo work too (Abyss and Super Tuna being my fave). If I were to get really into BTS again, I could definitely see myself biasing Jin.
So I’m wondering, is Jin the member who was a “clean” image in the group or are there things that I missed? Are there significant controversies involving him that casual fans might not know about, or does he generally have a relatively uneventful record compared with the other members?
Again this is not meant to drag anyone, I’m curious what are your thoughts on this especially as a long time Army
