Hi guysss! I’m a college student from Korea doing a small research project about instant noodles in the U.S. 🍜 heip me please . . . 도와주세요
I realized people in different countries think about “instant noodles” really differently, so now I’m curious about how Americans actually see them in daily life.
If you can, could you answer some of these casually? Even short answers are super helpful!!
- If you had to describe instant noodles in ONE sentence, what would you say? (ex: comfort food / broke college meal / late-night snack / emergency food lol)
- When do you usually eat instant noodles? (stressed? lazy? sick? gaming? after work? etc.)
- Do you think of instant noodles as cheap food, comfort food, nostalgic food, or something else?
- What brands or products come to mind first? (Ramyun counts too!)
- Do you know any Korean ramen brands? Like Shin Ramyun, Buldak, Chapagetti, Neoguri etc.
- What’s your favorite instant noodle and why?
- Do younger people and older people see instant noodles differently in the U.S.?
I can also answer questions about Korea or Korean ramen culture if anyone’s curious 👀
Thanks!!
