I don’t trust HYBE with underage girls in groups already, but they have an extra terrible track record when they seem to have originally intended for a group to have a mature/sexy concept. For example, Le Sserafim’s original Fearless choreo and Katseye’s concept change situations show that HYBE just can’t seem to wait until it’s responsible to do the concepts they want.
Specifically on the matter of Saint Satine, I noticed that the performance of the three Prelude girls and Ayana was costumed and choreographed with a more mature/sexy vibe. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad Party B4 the Party wasn‘t that same concept, but I’m worried that if HYBE originally wanted a concept like they did for the song with Ayana for Saint Satine and then decided to debut a minor, that they won’t adjust that concept for Sakura’s safety. I don’t want her to end up like Yoonchae, pushed into a sexy concept as a minor.
(Also, this isn’t to say HYBE doesn’t sexualize underage girls unless they do sexy concepts. ILLIT (with Baby It’s Both) and Newjeans (with everything) have both sexualized underage girls, no mature concept needed. HYBE stinks.)
