I wonder if non-English speaking idols feel less of a connection/have a different connection to their English songs

This is something I was thinking about recently. I’m not saying that they dislike their English songs at all, and obviously they know the translation of the lyrics, but I wonder if they feel less of a connection or at least a different connection to their 100% English tracks since the song comes less naturally to them (because they had to work on pronunciation etc etc). I’m obviously not a performer or anything but I wonder if it is more meaningful to perform in your own language as well.

This is NOT me shading non-English speaking idols at all and there are many English tracks from Kpop groups that I really enjoy! I just thought it would be an interesting discussion.
