Example: A label has a group who debuted 2015 and disbands 2024, they debut a 2nd group in 2016 who hasn’t made music since 2024 but is still signed up, the 3rd group debuted 2020 and the 4th one 2022 but nobody made music in the label since 2024. The label is not earning money from TikTok or other social media platformes, maybe just a tiny bit for YT views which makes almost no money. Their artists havn’t sold enough CDs in the past to give the company money to rely on from it, same with concerts who where barly atended by fans. The merch sales are also so low that it barly gives money to use for the label.
Now the label has 3 groups who post 1 TikTok every month and earn no money for it, than 1-2 social media posts all few days who also get them no money. They don’t sell CDs anymore, sell no merch no more and are not going on a tour. The artists also don’t model, don’t act, don’t own brands, they do basicaly nothing.
I was wondering what would the label do in this case if they also have not really any savings to still survive as a company 🤔
