Having a big Chinese fanbase is crucial for any groups who’s not popular in korea

When i went to skz, enhypen and babymonster concerts in Korea it shocked me to see that majority of the audiences there are foreigners (mostly Chinese) instead of local Korean but then i realise that it’s because none of these groups are popular enough in Korea to fill up the venues without foreigners.

That made me realise that having a big Chinese fanbase is really crucial for any groups especially if they’re not popular in korea because these Chinese fans are the one who’s helping them to sell out a concerts in Korea since kpop is banned in china so they can’t see their favorite kpop groups perform in their country so they have no choices other than go to korea themself since it’s the clostest from their country.

And that’s also makes me wonder if somehow one day the Chinese goverment allow kpop entering the country again will the Chinese fans stop going to Korea? And will it effect these groups who’s relying on them to sell out concerts in Korea ?
