starting to think i have bad kpop luck bc whenever i stan someone, they either flop or their music gets worse 😭 then i lose interest and suddenly they’re thriving.
– stanned en- in 2022 → dropped their worst single pass the mic 🤢 → got bored → as soon as i dipped dropped bite me aka their biggest hit ever. I slowly getting back into them earlier this year (i dont rlly connect w all the dudes but they do got some bside gems so i stick around) but the fandom too much a mess now so im just a causal fan all parties. Actually kinda funny i like all the dudes now more than i did before.
– liked this actor-idol when he was unknown… rlly talented dude i was confused how he wasn’t bigger since he been in the industry for a while… joined an existing group as a rapper, redebuted in a survival show as a main vocal, did broadway, etc → forgot about him → suddenly blew up in korea cuz he was in iu’s show and weak hero 2
– got into izone just a few months after they disbanded 😭 at the time, i was new to kpop and i didn’t even know their situation ig and would just watch their stuff. ugh i wish i could’ve witnessed their peak (same w some 2nd gen groups i like). same w exo, got into them around cream soda… didnt rlly like that cb that much tbh but seeing everyone together made me happy → and then mess. also wooah too… they don’t even release that much anymore.
– kep1 didnt rlly like their debut year but just when they started to lose hype, they started releasing bops. A shame cuz lovestruck mini is so ❤️ lowkey they could’ve kept the hype, if the tt choices early on were better. Like instead of we fresh as a tt, back to the city would’ve been a much bigger hit and probably help them keep onto their fans.
– got into tbz right after trigger… basically the start of their 100 journey 😭 nonstop all i ever see about them is just negative stuff which makes me forget why i even liked them in the first place and i cant rlly handle it anymore. only good thing that happened was that princess photo. cuz they seemed like an unstable group, i watched b2p cuz i wanted a new group to stan. show was ok (s1 was better imo), my pick didn’t make it up but i thought the lineup was alright. a year passed, i actually rlly love the dudes (the group chem is def there) but the music is just buns so it makes it so hard to keep rooting for them.
– my only group doing well and im satisfied w music is aespa (and Dimo Rex too but he not group) but then im unlucky again cuz 🫠 was gonna buy aespa tickets… they were the first kpop group i got into so i wanted my first concert to be them → then winter got sick and had to sit out so now im debating if i should go 😭 shingles sounds serious tho, hope she gets better
atp i think i’m cursed 💀 but it’s rlly only for kpop ig.
