Many kpop mv storylines are too complicated

I actually love it when kpop mvs have storylines that are made clear and are understandable like rose blue by dreamcatcher, the day6 school trilogy, or For You by BTS. However, too many kpop mv’s with “stories” are just not shown well enough. Like, they’re literally more like the Pixar theory than an actual storyline with the way they rarely explicitly show you important word building or plot points and so much hinges on Easter eggs and things like that. Kpop mv storylines should be more clear and not take hours of digging through the internet and/or overanalyzing everything. You are lying if you tell me that you understand continuous kpop mv storylines like Ateez or aespa without looking it up or studying the music videos for hours. It would make things much more engaging and interesting when you can actually understand what’s happening.
And I get what they’re going for, but I appreciate it a lot more and it’s actually easier for me to connect and care about what’s happening if I can understand it without going down a rabbit hole.
