I get it, its not your style. When i turned 16 i stopped liking bp songs in general because it was pretty loud and all ab vibes. Whenever i feel down i put on HYLT or play any song from Alter Ego. I still check out BP’s songs but they are not in my playlist. That is just how BP is and that is how they want to brand themselves. Girlboss, money, love. Thats what their music is about. Can i relate to it? Only 25% of the times. Do i hate them for it? No. Why do they need to grow or change up? They do not need to do that. This is what they like, esp Jennie and Lisa. They love hype music with usually empty lyric. They like to experiment too (Zen, Born Again/New woman) but they are Jennie and Lisa afterall (Like JENNIE, Rockstar). IMO even APT is a blackpink coded song. Its just hype and i never listened to that song more than once. Im not going to hate them for being who they are and doing what they like. If you want to give feedback on their vocals or rap’s or singing thats another issue. But keep in mind they worked as a group for a long time. Give them a break. They are on top of the world. i wonder how much humility they even need to actually release music and perform as they could iterally go ghost.
