Like, 36M views in 3 days and a performance video that surpassed 5.5M in 18 hours? I think the girls are so amazing, and that the things they release don’t always reflect their talent and potential, and i just don’t stan cause i don’t vibe with the sexualization of a group that still has 2 minors(and was sexualized from debut with many more minors) but that is neither here nor there. Just clarifying this is not a hate post.
But i don’t see their popularity reflecting their numbers. And today i received 2 ads for Sugar Honey Ice Tea, so that got me wondering if all the views are being paid for.
Like Aespa’s Lemonade im 12 days hasn’t reached the number of views BM has in 3. A new collab of THREE GG’s has less than a performance video of S.H.I.T. in the same amount of hours.
I don’t want to simply compare different artists, but i don’t see their popularity outside of views. They have almost the same amount of comments in their 36M views MV as other groups with 6 times less views.
