i feel like some of their members are not standing out the way JL does. JL is too good, he always thrives no matter what. Their songs are good but i feel like there’s missing and i can’t pinpoint what it is. Their comeback is a flop, they are falling off little by little and they are just clinging to their ships.
These are things I noticed:

The infrequent release schedule did not help the group to rise up. They were at their peak and suddenly the fans couldn’t keep up anymore.

The lack of promotions and contents. They are funny as a group, Woongki, Shuhaibo, and JL could easily carry the content just by being themselves.

The line distribution is kinda not good, some of them lines don’t fit to this certain members and should have given to others— sometimes it is insufferable to listen to and i skipped all the time.

Fnf failed to capitalize JL which could have revived the group. the votes for him during universe league era are evidence that they could have achieved more and be more recognizable if the company knew what they were doing.
Han – definitely talented man with an knsane voice, and his singing technique always gets me. then when JL sings right after his part? god it’s heavenly sent! he would do well as a soloist.
Steven – could do more than shipping himself with JL. he knows JL is famous so he clings to him and does fan service with him. He is talented he could showcase his rapping and singing instead. he should focus on that rather than shipping himself.
Woongki – sometimes he sounds nasally. i wouldn’t say it’s bad in general but sometimes i can’t listen to the song and i end up skipping his part.
Chihen – he doesn’t know how to perform right. and have fun on the stage, his face is too stiff which hinders him from reaching his fullest potential. and sometimes he feels like he doesn’t wanna be there. The song is so intense and he’s just like 😐. The other members are everywhere and he’s just like this 🧍🏻. being pretty isn’t enough and i think some members from universe league deserved his position.
Shuaibo – is the hidden weapon especially with how much he has improved. this guys is really funny and CAN SING. i just hope he gets more lines and screentime, i think some of the members’ lines deserves to be given to him.
Jeongwoo – needs to do a bit more to get himself out there. he doesn’t stand out meaninfully and is just wallpaper. he is improving yet i think his skills in comparison to the other members lack a lot and he doesn’t feel like a part of the team at all. he was just there just like chihen. but this guy is so cutie patootie and so kind so i hope he gets better, more confidence in the future, and keeps improving and proves my opinion wrong becuase he is likable!
Daisuke – this maknae is very charming and has a calming presence. there’s this certain aura of coolness in him despite his age. he has this cool flow that adds element to the group’s vocal. whether its rap or sing, small singing sections he can literally follow JL’s flow.
JL – I predicted that when they debuted , JL the famous member woould have barely got lines and would be used as bait in every thumbnails to get the hype AND I WAS RIGHT. JL got few lines and barely screentime on MVs but that man is very talented, you will never see him overshadowed by someone because he knows how to thrive alone— his lines and stage presence are remarkable his movements and face expressions are the reason why people look up to him. He is made to be an idol. And every live performances he always stands out the most because he knows how to perform, hype up the fans, and have fun on the stage. Recently, JL did covers and posted them on X (twitter) and they went viral — they got new fans because of him. since he knows the hype is good he keeps posting covers on that app and still gets views and gains fans. he knows how to bring their fans back and hold onto them. he knows his way around, and thank god that he exists in that group or else they would have flopped so hard right now.
