I’ve been a fan of K-pop for a little over three years now, and it’s truly been an amazing experience. I’ve grown a lot as a person, and being a fan has taught me a lot. I am not on a lot of social media platforms, so I get a lot of my info on Reddit, but it’s still taught me a lot on social media and understanding of being online. I’ve also loved my time as a fan and I’ve met some of my closest friends because of it, including my current roommate, we met in biology because she had a photo of Ateez on her laptop and I saw it and we hit it off.
I’ve really been lucky to experience all of it, and as a multistan, I’ve listened to so many different groups that it’s broadened my tastes in music in general. I often feel I was late to the party, but I think I’ve been able to experience a lot and I’m so glad I found K-pop when I did.
This is just a post to share about my love for K-pop and my journey as a fan, and my experiences with it, like how I made friends because of it.
