First off, nothing against the normal fancallers. It’s just a random thought.
We all have seen fancall clips in yt, tiktok, ig, etc. Clips where the fan who is in the fancall record the whole thing as they are doing it. Cool, nothing wrong with that.
But my issue is with those fancalls where the fan shows other groups’ / idols’ videos to the idol infront. Like when you are facetiming a male idol and you show a female idol’s video or clip and proceed to talk about it with him, and vice versa too, where the female idol is shown a vid/clip of a male idol. This whole thing just makes the idol sitting infront of the screen uncomfortable af. I know some of them are more about the fans wanting the idol infront to do the tiktok challenge. But, the rest of em.
I know that the fan has paid for the exclusive 1-on-1 so he/she can do anything or ask anything to that idol. But still, if you are a fan, why make your fav insecure and uncomfortable? Instead why not ask your favs something about him/her that you wanna know or curious of. Like you can literally ask or talk about anything related to that idol or the group.
Like I somewhat know that the frequent callers (fans) have already asked about most of the things. But still, like you are recording it and putting it out in the world. Get something that the fandom is curious about.
Most of the clips that I see where idols are shown a different group / opposite gender group and asked questions about it, I feel like they are just done to farm interractions and comments from both the fandoms involved in that particular video.
Again, nothing against the normal fancallers. I adore them and how they interract with the idols. Those videos are cute and wholesome. But yaa, this is a random post about fancalls.
